    Mt. Hunger, Vermont

    Mount Hunger 8-13-2011

Very nice short trail with a superb rock surface at the summit where you can see Mansfield, Camel's Hump and several others and also the White Mountains (But not to much yesterday).

Could you see Bromley Mt? I was on Bromley Mtn yesterday looking around in southwestern VT on the LT as well as the AT. Was a nice day yesterday though as you said, still a bit hazy.

I do not know Bromley Mt. and where it is (I will look on the map). Yes it was a bit hazy, that why we cannot see to much of the White.

Bromley is the ski area (but the ski area faces SE) but it is in Peru, VT. Stratton seems to face north and is a good bit taller than Bromley but peru is still a bit south of Stowe and Mt Hunger.. (I have the GMC book "Day Hiker's Guide to VT" that lists Mt. Hunger in it)
