Trail Conditions: Overall, in good shape, a little mud on Paradise Lane which is not uncommon unless very dry. Above 1500 feet, a covering of snow off trail but the trail has no snow or ice on it, even the steeper north face of Bear was snow free although damp in spots.
Special Equipment Required: none, liner gloves & an extra layer for sitting around the top.
Comments: Optional - Overall a pretty quiet day, saw a few groups, A Boy Scout Troop, a School group from South Windsor who descended the north side, (overall, it's better going up), and a few others. We caught a little light drizzle with about 20 minutes to go but never heavy enough to add a coat.
