Photos album of the construction of the new Marcy Dam Bridge

The bridge over Marcy Dam was destroyed after Hurricane Irene in August 2011. Adirondack Mountain Club's Professional Trail Crew is rebuilding a new bridge about 75 yards below the current dam. Photos by Seth Jones.

I love my avatar photo. It's referenced in the article BlackSpruce linked. I hope the dam gets rebuilt to give us this view again.
