Date of Hike: 1/6/2013

Trail Conditions: A mix of ice, snow and bare ground with some mud as you would expect with melting snow. A few downed trees and widow makers courtest of Sandy but well mainatined and easy to get around.

Special Equipment Required: Wore gaitors but did not need them as snow was generally less than 2". Icy sections easy to navigate with care.

Comments: Optional - A wonderful hike through hardword forest & Mt. Laurel with tidal features visible in many spots. It's not the Whites, Catskills or Adirondacks but a very scenic and pleasent 2.5 - 3. mile loop on mixed used, non motorized trails. The scenic view from Tony's Nose was very tranquil, sun off the water,a fair westerly breeze and a good day are wonderful, no matter where you are or how you got there. (Heading north or west later this week)
