I'm so glad to see so many people using this thread to orchestrate their hikes. Dehydrator and I are considering Jefferson this Saturday with Isolation as a bail out option. It sounds like Iso may see some heavy traffic. Let's hope the trail is broken out and not broken by those who use it.

Z, we're also considering Jefferson. Just need to see that forecast about 24 hrs from now...

I really want to make a run up Washington by winters end. Weekends suck, but maybe I could get a Saturday off near the end of the month/first sat of April (I know, no longer counts for a winter 4k, whatever).

I think I am hiking Whiteface and Passaconaway on Friday and Madison, Adams, and Jefferson possibly on Saturday, and something short on Sunday before the long drive back

RAIN!!? I assume the rain mentioned is for after the weekend. I'm planning ISO for Sat or Sun or both and I don't do rain (bad experience on T,F&W last spring)

Posted on the Mt Washington OBS website today "... An additional 1-2" of snow will fall today, nearly all of it coming very early this morning. Strong winds during the first half of today will pick up the light and powdery snow pack in place, resulting in significant blowing and drifting of snow."

This means that the eastern side of the Presidential Range will have increased avalanche risk; i.e., Huntington, Tucks, Oaks, etc.

So did you do Whiteface and Passaconway? Was it broken out?

Sent you a PM about possibly joining your hike and helping with car spot so it can be done as a loop.
