Mt. Equinox via Blue Summit and Yellow (Ridge) Trails 3/23/14
Blue Summit trail packed snow, hard crust, yellow ridge trail broken out. One blow down on blue (and one on yellow) requiring a duck-under.
Special equipment needed - Microspikes, though a few hearty hikers were bare-booting it. Snowshoes were quite helpful, maybe overkill in some areas.
Still very much winter on the mountain. Felt good to start 3-season hikes again (though it really still felt like a winter hike).
