Mount Carrigain
Sawyer River Road / Signal Ridge Trail
Date of Hike: 04/12/2014 (Saturday)
Trail Conditions: Sawyer River Road packed in and still covered with snow/ice. Signal Ridge Trail was slow and steady with plenty of snow. Water crossings are back, snow bridges are gone. Some sections of trail were leaning towards monorail status.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes
Comments: Spectacular bright, sunny day, broke trail the whole trip up. Fire tower offered amazing views and very little wind. Only saw 2 other people headed up on my way down.
