Trail Conditions: There is still snow cover from the bottom of the trail until treeline and still a couple of feet in most places. We were able to use light traction but with the warm temps the trail might start turning into quite a mess soon, one step off the packed stuff and you punch through a foot plus. The first re-bar section has a bypass which looked to be more difficult than the trail since it was more icy. The bushwhack to the summit of Mount Blue was mostly open and only a couple of tenths of a mile off trail, not too hard to find. Once again with the warm temps expect to post-hole if going up there.

Special Equipment: We all used light traction but it might be a good idea to bring the snowshoes

Comment: First time for views and not getting blown off the Moose in almost two years! The orange summit sign was missing, hopefully the DOC is just replacing it and it wasn't stolen. Couldn't have had a better weather day, thanks to Matt, Patrick, Theresa, and Denise for letting me join in. Pictures / Report
