trails: monadnock-sunapee greenway trail

conditions: ample room to park out of the way about .5 past the boat launch on halfmoon pond road at its junction with lovell mountain road which the greenway follows.
good walking along the jeep road to start with a couple large puddles, more like vernal pools as they were filled with tadpoles and frogs. turning off the road the trail was in nice shape as well and mostly dry all the way to the summit. flies and mosquitoes were mildly obnoxious down low.

equipment: nothing in particular.

comments: given the forecast heat a relatively short hike seemed appealing so i finally got around to taking a hike up lovewell. nice walking and a neat summit. great view from the summit area up to sunapee as well as to kearsarge and nearby rowes hill. though pretty hot there was a decent breeze in the upper portion of the hike to keep things comfortable. great to be out.
