Saturday, July 12 – Trail work with the BRATTS on Mt. Belknap

This will be the fourth in a series of work days by the Belknap Range Trail Tenders (BRATTS) performing an extensive reconstruction of the Red Trail on Belknap Mt. As before, the project will consist of quarrying rock for building cribs, scree, water bars and rock steps. This will require the usual tools to include rock bars, shovels, winches and various other hand tools. No experience necessary as we teach! The work area is a short walk from the parking lot. We will meet at 8:30 at the UPPER parking area of the carriage road. Bring gloves, lunch, etc., and decent boots. As always tools supplied.
