Saving part of a track...Garmin GPSmap 60CSx

Trying to save part of a track log.

--Hit save track log......success.
--"Do you want to save entire track?".....I choose "no".............success.
--GPS tells me to select beginning point for saved track......I choose the point and click Enter........success, GPS accepts my selection.
--GPS tells me to select end point for saved track......I choose the point and click Enter........fail. GPS will not accept my end point selection. Tried several times, no luck.
I read the manual and followed the directions to a tee.....no luck.

Any suggestions/tricks/tips? Thanks.

I always download the entire tracklog and edit it later. You can edit it with MapSource or if saved as a GPX (text) file, it can be edited with a text editor.

Make sure you save a copy before editing...
