South Moat 9-14-14

Hit up the nice view South Moat summit today...trail was in good shape no blowdowns etc...just wanted to give a heads up as there is active logging going on (but not today)...the trail has been rerouted to the left of the parking lot and is marked with orange flagging and posted signs...once past the log yard the trail resumes it normal route...

A nice view day today, though windy and chilly at the summit...very nice to meet Twinmom+1 and her hiking crew!!

Also the parking lot is pretty big but during the week might want to park carefully to leave room for the logging equipment/tractor trailers...
