I was asked the name of the obvious peak summit east of Greeley Ponds 
and when I look on the most recent topo it has no name. Its obviously part of Mount Kancamagus so a logical name would be west Kancamagus but given its prominence in the view from the Kanc. I was curious if there is a formal or informal name.
its also interesting to note that the most recent Mt Carrigan quad (1995), depicts an open summit while the adjacent Mt Osceola Quad (1995) has no trace of clearing. Google Earth shows a few slides facing the Greely Ponds but that's it.
