parking: Mousley Brook Road parking lot has room for half dozen or more...Quinttown and Mousley Brook Rds in good shape...
Daniel Doan Trail well marked by DOC sign, easy directions from WMG...ACTIVE LOGGING on the right side of the trail, couple skid roads cross after the log yard, just stay straight (light blue blazes also guide)...water crossing very easy, small rocks and slabs up high very slippery and there are flagged bypasses on some of them...
SMARTS MT. FIRE TOWER CLOSED PER USFS....for safety reasons I guess....
