Trail Conditions: Skinned up Polecat on my split board. It's $10 for the Wildcat access pass. Crispy snow making snow on the ski trails, powder on the edges. Wildcat Ridge trail was not broken out. A foot more or less of new powder with some deeper drifts. No base though and the trail is still rocky under the snow.

Special Equipment Required: Carried snowshoes but left them at the top of the ski area. MICROspikes worked for me but snowshoes would have been OK too. Snow is too light to provide much support for snowshoes, some kind of traction is useful though. I was happy to have poles.

Comments: I met two snowshoers coming from A to D and the trail is pretty well trampled (although not exactly packed) at this point. Wildcat had a fair amount of skier traffic and my board run down Lynx around 3:00 was pretty skied off.
