Date of Hike: 01/10/2015

Trail Conditions: A few inches of hard crusty snow, wind slab on the top of the two hills. A couple of minor blowdowns easily walked around.

Special Equipment Required: Wind protection, and poles, micro-spikes could have been helpful, the other hiker I saw had them. A couple of skiers on the road from the Pitcher Mt Parking lot had skied the road out to Hubbard Hill. Snowshoes not needed, the deepest drift was not even boot high. Gaiters very helpful.

Comments: Optional - First time on the Monadnock - Sunapee Greenway other than on Monadnock. Trail is fairly wide through the trees, in most places. Not broken out at all but only hard to follow through the blueberries. By the time I left, most traffic was on the road to Hubbard Hill by both skiers and other hikers. Sadly, one of the hikers walked up the road right on one of the ski tracks instead of along side where there was plenty of room. The hiker only went about 3/4 of a mile from the parking lot through.
