Trail was broken out up to wilderness boundary by the multitudes, and then beyond that by gentleman named Doug from Concord. I caught up with him on the switchbacks leading up to summit ridge and helped break trail. The snow isn't all that deep and there was probably a buried track under the snow so breaking was not as tough as it can be. Took longer than I first thought so I settled for re-visiting Jennings Peak instead of Sandwich Dome my original objective. There were only a few minor blow-downs all easily negotiated. Round trip distance was 11.5 miles and close to 3000' elevation gain. Good work out for non-4K. Sachem Peak looks very grand and impressive with snow. Great day to be out. The whites are due for more snow tomorrow, but our track should still be evident if the new snow isn't too deep.
