Sandwich Mtn. via Sandwich Mtn. Trail 2/12/15

Drakes Brook crossing solid. Ski tracks/hiking tracks up to 1st outlook. Rest unbroken to summit, breaking trail through wind packed snow and some light fluff. Lost the trail at Smarts Brook trail jct. We found blazes only after going out in the direction we thought and looking back toward jct. so you'll see snowshoe tracks wandering around everywhere. The trail goes out approx. where the sign points but then takes a turn to the left to continue ascent and blazes become more clear and trail easy to follow again.

Snowshoes a must all the way!
