To the Long Island guys who seem to be dinosaurs like me, I forgot to ask; how do we set up private conversations to discuss meeting our neighbors (like you guys)? It has gotten harder to find people to backpack with at my age and it's always good to meet new people. I hike a lot with my fiance but she prefers the day trips. Please let me know as I have known about this site for years but just joined recently. Thanks.
