Trails: Herd Path, North Twin Trail, North Twin Spur, Twinway, Frost Trail, Garfield Ridge Trail, Gale River Trail, Gale Loop Road, Corridor 11, Haystack Road
Trail Conditions: I used microspikes until after the last crossing and then kept my snowshoes on until Gale River Loop Road and used microspikes on the road walks. Trails are broken out well up to South Twin with minimal drifting. Twinway down to hut had deep snow and only one other snowshoe track early on Sunday morning but a group was coming through later so it should be packed down better now. Frost Trail and Gale River Trail had a great snowshoe track. Water Crossings solidly snow bridged. Quite a site to see Little River and Gale River blanketed with snow. Unexpected decent views today
In case anyone is in a pinch or can't get a car spot you can loop back to your car from Gale River Road to Little River Road by taking trail corridor 11 to Haystack Road, then hooking onto Corridor 11 bypass, stay on the edge of road and and stop when snowmobiles come by. Click here for Pictures
