Date of Hike: March 20, 2015

Trail Conditions: Mostly packed snow. Some parts of it was a little soft. The ice bridges over the streams are starting to melt. There is about 3 to 4 trees downed and laying across the trail.

Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes - not needed, Crampons - not needed, Micro-Spikes - essential

Comments: Nice day to get one last winter hike in. Winds were very low today. Views from the tower were awesome. Full 360 degree view of most of the 48 peaks. A word of caution though, the top metal grate for the stairs on the tower is loose. Take care as it shifts when you step on it and it's 20 feet up in the air. Paul, please send me a email, and I'll forward you the pictures I took today.
