Trail Conditions: With Wednesday and Thursday's wind, a few parts around Centennial Pool had drifted in, even on this popular trail. Not as bad up high, some minor debris in the trail with the remains of a larger blow down right near the top. Crossings all frozen over.

Special Equipment Required: Wore my MSR's all day, the four other people I saw also wore snowshoes, by Saturday afternoon, probably bare bootable. Warm wind-proof clothing required today.

Comments: - Wind-chill well below zero but summits were in the clear, could see the summit towers on Washington by looking around to the left just a little bit. With any luck, will be back here in June with many of our local scout troop, Troop 72 from Colchester CT. It will be nice to be up in trail shoes and a fanny pack instead of full winter gear.
