Hiked today- Gunstock Mtn Trail from Carriage Road Gate to summit and down. Trail in great shape today.
Watch out for Coyote below the Outlook on the Gunstock Mtn. Trail. Our dogs heard barking down below the outlook and took off to investigate. We thought other hikers and dog was ascending as we were coming down. No hikers but a coyote 50 yards away, barking and eyeing us. ? Rabid or protecting a den ? Wise to keep your eyes out there if you're hiking with dogs off-leash. - s. zimmer
