I saw this gizmo can boil a small amount of water in 12 seconds. The water is then used to cook some amount of food.

Anyone ever try one? The claim is that they are superior to the MRE heating system used by the military.
It says not to drink the water, but it does not say if it is environmentally damaging to dump it on the ground. ??
