JEWELL SPUR TRAIL FROM COG BASE: foot bridge has been washed out by ice/high water...some hikers may have used the "Irene" bypass and that might be the way to go until more info becomes available..
Boundary Line Trail: the Ammo Ravine/Jewell Trail trailhead 1.1 from Cog base was open 5-11-15....hiked into Boundary Line trail via Jewell (big bridge good and sturdy) and was able to get to Jefferson Notch Rd., though the crossing was very tricky (usually easy with lower water)...wet areas of course but no problem...Jefferson Notch Rd still gated....
