This feed pretty much picks up all articles with search or rescue tags. On the negative side, you will see articles from the China Ferry Capsize to a bull being "rescued" from a well, crimes, etc.
On the positive side, there are many hiker rescue/mishap stories. Some are local to the Northeast and not reported on VFFT. There are lessons to be learned on all trails and useful knowledge if you travel. There is plenty of coverage regarding kayaking, and press releases from SAR agencies.
Important-- you will only see the last 10 or so stories if you use a web browser. The best way to use this RSS feed to drag/cut and paste the link into Microsoft Outlook RSS Feeds or an RSS Client (program) of your own choice. Firefox will ask you if you want to add the feed to its RSS reader.
