white cap and north kennebago divide, hiked 6 20 15
beautiful day, very few bugs, slight breeze. hiked with peppersass and group. see her posting for more info. do not underestimate the time to get to trail head. it took us over an hour from rt 27 at tim pond road entrance. gps's were very helpful but we had topo and compass as a backup. just over 5 hours for both peaks with a nice lunch break at nkd. great group to hit the trails with. needed a small amount of bug protection and wear your old glasses, or safety glasses. lots of pokers to catch you in the face.
