Caribou Valley Road's starting to deteriorate again. A plank on one of the small bridges flew up and dropped back down as we drove over it. Gate at 3.9 miles in. Huge, deep puddles on the log road after the first turn, final approach to the summit has several blowdowns. Canister is mounted on the back side of a tree on the right so it's not visible at first - take a right at the guide wire anchor and poke around, you'll see it.
Special equipment needed: Rain jacket and pants, waterproof boots.
