Kilkenny Ridge Trail was in reasonable shape and easy to follow. Lots of blow downs, but most easy to get around. There was one heading up South Weeks (from Middle) that had a blow down that required some adventure to get around. Starr King trail as usually was in good shape.

The following is a summary of tent sites we saw on the trial and water sources. This is from north to south.

1. Rogers Ledge Tent site was in good shape and had a stream only a few hundred yards down from the trail turn off.

2. Unknown Pond was in good shape and obviously lots of water.

3. Cabot Cabin had no water in the cistern.

4. Terrace Mountain has a nice small site, but no water near by.

5. Willard Notch has a large site for tents on the other side of the sign that says "This trail no longer maintained". There is a stream just before the site, but the water level is low and looks like might not have water by October unless we get rain.

6. Summit of North Weeks has a small tent site off a side trail with a stream just past it. Once again looks like it could run out before the end of the year without more rain.
