Bonjour, monsieures et mademoiselles.
We've had some enjoyable hikes in Canada where treeline often comes lower and crowds are usually, but not always, thinner but, always in search of new destinations and in helping to research some destinations, I came across the Trans Canada Trail. It is a community based trail consisting of some 500 linked trails and this link opens up more possibilities. It is 80% "complete" and will eventually total 24,000 km from the Atlantic to the Pacific and north to the Arctic.

We've had memorable hikes in Newfoundland, Gaspe, New Brunswick and the Canadian Rockies, all beckoning further exploration for us. Any suggestions for us to consider for future trips would be welcome.
