Large ice flows on trail just before the Short Cut can be negotiated (they are melting). Steeps and rock slabs just below Mt. Wonalancet summit are dry and ice free. Trail beyond Mt. Hibbard appears difficult to follow (perhaps some blow downs).
No special equipment needed.
Beautiful day though the mist stayed and prevented views until mid-afternoon. Met just one couple in the parking lot, headed to Mt. Whiteface.
We tried to hike past the Mt. Hibbard summit but lost the trail and couldn't find where it continued so we headed back down. http://summithikinginnewengland.blogspot.com/2015/11/mts-wonalancet-and-hibbard-november-26.html
