Hale Brook Trail
The Zealand road was open. The trail has no maintenance needs, but do be advised that there are patches that are starting to get icy, and the rocks above water at the stream crossings has black ice on them.
People are starting to walk on the sides of the trails rather than heading up the trails, which is going to damage the sides of the trails, so if you're heading up at this point on, please bring microspikes.
This is a good trail to start adding an extra fifteen minutes to the book time to deal with the ice, which I suspect is only going to get worse from this point on.
