Whiteface and Esther - 3-26-16

Enjoyed the beautiful weather yesterday on Whiteface and Esther. Was warm and windless which made for a great day. Micro spikes the whole way and was even able to hike out in a t-shirt, great times!

Thanks for posting, nice report. Makes me reminisce of the ten years I lived in South Hero, Whiteface was the most prominent peak visible from much of the town so I would hike it almost every year. I recall that Marble Mt trail as not being particularly nice. I did in the spring and thought, oh this why you are not supposed to hike in the mud season. The trail was a mix of ice and a stream. I also recall that step to get on the last section of trail by the auto road as being very tricky when icy. But that is a very nice hike. Thanks again for the great photos.
