Just in case you were wondering if you were hiking enough...

Hi to All

I felt you would all want to know.

I completed my "6th Grid" yesterday on West Bond via a solo out & back hike from Lincoln Woods.

A fine day in April for this hike.

My thanks to all who have joined me along the way on so many of my hikes.

Take Care

Ed

Wow. And West Bond is always a fine hike.
For those who need to know, 48*12*6 = 3456.
That doesn't count the partial 7th grid, 8th grid, 3000-footers, hometown trails, vacation peaks, ...
Ed, you da man! Got a frequent buyer account at Merrell?

Congrats, Ed! I'd say you definitely earned that one by doing an out and back on Lincoln Woods ;) .

Huge congrats to Ed! I remember first meeting him on Mt Monroe in April 2007. It was my first time hiking the Southern Presis and Ed was hiking solo and stopped to chat with our group. Someone said, "he's done the Grid, he's like one of only a handful of people". That was the first time I had heard of the 48x12. Now he is up to six Grids. Amazing!!!
