A spectacular spring day in the Presis. There is still plenty of ice at higher elevations. At times we almost wanted crampons. But we got the job done with Hillshounds and extra caution.

What time were you on the summit? We had it to ourselves around 10:30, and then hung out in Endmand's for a while on the way back down. I only saw two others above tree line the entire trip, and then a bunch on Lowe's on my way down heading for Gray Knob.
I heard there was a large group near Madison Hut heading towards Jefferson on a Prezzi traverse, but never caught site or sound of them.
 
Thank you! Not a lot of other hikers. A few on the summit - not sure when that was, but it was definitely well after 10:30.
