Conditions: Mostly bare trail, muddy in places. Lit's of water running down the stone stairs on West Baldpate. Some large ice flows require short bushwack bypasses. Small section of ice in the cold between the peaks. East peak ledges a little wet.
Comments: Met a flip-flopping thru-hiker. The season begins! The trailhead parking was almost completely full, likely due to the beautiful weather.
