Mt. Cabot via York Pond Bunnell Notch and Kilkenny Ridge Trails 5/20/2016

Trail Conditions: Since the trail reports from last weekend, conditions along this route have greatly improved. Ice is limited to just a few small spots on the upper part of the route, and traction is unnecessary. The stream crossing is now easy, and the route is now ~99% mud free, with moderate mud pretty much in the spots where it usually is. Black flies were out, but the swarming factor was just a 2 or so on a scale of 10, and with the exception of a single miscreant who evidently didn't get the memo, they weren't biting.

Special Equipment Required: None

Comments: A mostly sunny, breezy day made this brisk walk a true pleasure. The Bunnell ravine is a really pretty place.
