Mainly dry from the Garden parking to the DEC outpost. The Orebed trail was about 1/3 wet and muddy along the flat part. When it got steeper, there were plenty of wet rocky areas. Above the stairs it was fairly wet, making the going a bit delicate at times. After the split for Gothics, the trail was wet for the first quarter, with delicate moves at times too. Then it was mostly dry. The cables themselves look like they haven't had any maintenance for some time. We descended the same way, and on descent we noticed trails in the woods to avoid dicey descents on wet rock.

Previously we've done this trail when it's all dry, and it's more pleasant and aesthetic dry. So while it's obviously doable now, for a more pleasant experience, it may be best to wait for a couple weeks until things dry out more.

No bugs, no people, good weather, a nice day out.
