Middle Tripyramid via Sabbaday Brook Trail.
Date of Hike: 6-18-2016
Trail Conditions: Trail was dry and the many stream crossings were easy rock hops. This is a forestry-maintained-trail and, as is typical for them, there were a number of tree trunks across the trail that were easily stepped over, some trail erosion in the lower sections along the brook, and blazes were faint. Be mindful, as we missed a few turns but quickly self-corrected.
Special Equipment Required: Potent bug spray and face netting as the black flies were vicious, especially at the col and summit.
Comments: Stream crossings had mile markers spray painted in yellow on rocks. We found this very weird, anyone have ideas why (1.0M, 3.5, 5.5, etc.)?
