Presidential Traverse Attempt 6-25-16

Well I made my first attempt at a Presidential Traverse this Saturday and unfortunately it didn't really go as planned. After a long work week, a 6 hr drive, and 3 hrs of sleep I just didn't have the energy to make it past Washington.There was no major debacle or epic but I am still a bit disappointed in my performance. However, I am also more motivated than ever to get back there with a bit better schedule and planning to make sure I have all the tools necessary for success. The weather was the best I ever had in the Whites up to this point and it was still a fantastic day in the mountains. I will be back for sure!
