Anyone have a GPS track (gpx, kmz, etc.) for Black Mountain Pond Trail in Sandwich, NH?

Thanks,

I just checked and noticed that some trails in the area have been marked on OpenStreetMap.org (see http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=13/43.8769/-71.5289&layers=C ), so I configured them properly, so that they can be downloaded via http://hiking.waymarkedtrails.org/#?map=13!43.8827!-71.5277 - just go to "Routes" button in lower right corner and select the trail you want. I am not familiar with the area, so I don't vouch for accuracy but my experience with OSM has been pretty good so far.

If you have a Garmin GPS you may consider downloading a bigger map for the area - see this post for more info: http://www.vftt.org/forums/showthread.php?57608-Take-Me-To-GPS-School&p=431067&viewfull=1#post431067

I haven't been on that trail for perhaps 25 years or so. I recall it being a rough trail but not hard to follow. Is it not maintained?

Another resource: You can grab the .gpx file for about any WM trail from the AMC's White Mt. Guide Online. Super cheap, at $12 / year for AMC members. It works excellent using FireFox. It's a great resource for redliners... allowing you to plan adventures and save maps for future use. And once a hike is planned, you can download a route or track.

I was up there this spring. I'll see if I can figure out how to send you my track! When. Do you need it by?

DougPaul, Damselfly, TJsName - thanks.
TJs Name - I don't have a need for these quickly...no trip scheduled yet.
Stan - I don't typically use gps tracks in order to follow trails...I do it to use them in Google Earth and see if there are any interesting off-trail areas accessible from a given trail.
