Loop over Sandwich Dome from Bennett St. trail-head following Flat Mountain Pond Trail, Guinea Pond Trail, Black Mountain Pond Trail, Algonquin Trail, and Bennett St. Trail

Conditions: Flat Mountain Pond, and Algonquin Trails in great shape.
Guinea Pond Trail has some blowdowns, and the flooded section is still flooded, even in this incredibly dry year. Astonishingly there is still no real discernible heard path to get around this section, and it's not clear what the trail even does in this area. Heading into the woods slightly north of the trail will allow you to cross the brook and get around, it is a very short bushwack.
Black Mountain Pond Trail is in good shape, but is somewhat confusing around the pond due to campsites and whatnot, follow treadway carefully.
Bennett St. trail is in fantastic shape, mostly covered with a bed of soft pine needles - great for descent.

Equipment: knowledge of how to get around flooded part of Guinea Pond Trail

Comments: Had never been on Bennett St. Trail before, was wowed by high quality of trail condition, light use and superior trail design.
