Although the foliage is still colorful, the dusting of snow is a sign of things to come. The ledges were a little wet in the usual places, with some icy spots that are easy to avoid. The only problem area is coming off Welch toward Dickey. Shade, and a dusting of snow, combine to make for slippery conditions getting down to the col. Overall, the trail is in great shape.
