Random Group of Hikers, party of 8.
Ascended EK from Kennebago Road through knee deep fresh snow with waist deep drifts. A small section of our route was knocked out by snowmachines as we passed. It was slow going even with a strong group. we bushwhacked up through several clear cuts which would have offered great views if it weren't socked in. We chose this route as the shortest approach from a plowed road. It involved mostly woods roads and bushwhacking through recent clearcuts to a point near the town boundary line and the usual "summer" herd path below the summit.
