    Black Mountain/Jackson Ski Touring

Anyone ever ski from Black Mountain into Jackson via the Trails the JST has? I'll be skiing at Black Mountain in a few weekends and was exploring the idea of taking a couple of the trails back to town, as I'll be in my backcountry gear.

Looking if it's mostly-all downhill as it appears, and if it's even allowed?

    Any other info is appreciated.

As long as you have a Jackson ski pass it's allowed. I wouldn't do so on alpine gear, it would be a painful slog in inappropriate gear. If you have tele gear you might want to give it a go. It's generally downhill but there's some climbing and mostly flat or gentle terrain.

Thank you. Yes, I'd be in my tele-gear with is pretty lightweight (T2s, for example), but I wasn't going to have a pass.
