The State Park is getting a major upgrade

The down side is it looks like the park is closed for much of this year. The remote sites will remain open.

Agreed. Beautiful place.

The reason I posted is I expect for the VFTT crowd that with the primary campground closed there may be more pressure on the remote sites preferred by the VFTT members.

Still nice to see they are spending some money. That usually implies that there is adequate revenue from the facility to justify the expenditure. Jericho Lake has also been the recipient of significant upgrades funded by the ATV boom in the region assisted by free labor from a local high school vocations program. Unfortunately what is sorely lacking it the staff to staff all the state owned properties in the region properly.
