I'm interested in any recent intelligence on accessing Stratford Bog Pond in North Stratford. Historically, this has been an iffy proposition, with Bog Pond Road reportedly having been washed out years ago, and the small residential roads on the west side of the stream having reports of unfriendly residents and no trespassing signs across roads. (The trails north and NW of the pond represent the closest road access to mountains like Goback.) Assuming that Stratford Bog Pond needs official access for flood control or fish stocking, how does the state get in there?

Thanks,

Presumably fish stocking can be done via heli. Don't know about flood control. I would also assume locals ok with state crews. I've been through there only on snow machine.
