Folks,

I have "semi-generic" Goretex brand wind pants that no longer fit around the waist. Looking quickly on Amazon I see pants that quite literally cost 10X what I thought I'd have to spend. These would be used for winter activities such as snow-blowing, wood-cutting, and non-technical low altitude winter hiking. The ones I have are just a polyester shell and a nylon lining, but do a good job. Any recommendations for a replacement for less than $100?

Thanks

I like the sport-hill pants. Probably more than $100, but they work for me.

I have used a pair of these for a long time http://www.redledge.com/ao82 For over twenty years I have used them for skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, snowshoeing, snowblowing, cutting wood, trail work, brush burning, whatever. I tend to run hot, so I really enjoy the light weight of these rain pants. $39 @ Amazon or KTP; also offered in a full zip version. I wear them so often that my daughter was shocked to see me use my bib snow pants this week.

I know that they are not bomb proof weather wise, but would def buy again.
