Congrats to all!

I have a $22 Anker charger for my phone. This summer I had a number of mulit-day hikes / backpacks on my docket. The charger (no bigger than a candy bar)... can charge my phone 3+ times. It was fast and easy.

Congrats! All five... and I know how bad the woods can be. Quite a feat. Well done!

I just recently hiked all of the trails (redlining) three weeks ago. Trails were not too bad (except Mt. Clinton Tr.). But the water was only running at 500-550 cfs, and we still had to ford the river to get over to the Mt. Clinton Tr. On FaceBook... if you go to the Pemi Valley S&R, it looks...

I've never hiked all five in one day... so my hats off to you! Approaching west peak from Lincoln Woods.... woods are decent... better than expected on the "bitchcocks". Woods from Main Peak to North were dense, as I recall. There is a helo pad out on North, I recall... cleared area... could...

I was just in there for three days redlining trails... and made a map of all of the designated sites, as well as sites that have been used. I might have missed one... but I pretty much have them all. If you message me with your email address, I'll send you the map :-)

If you wanted to reverse your loop...the small bushwhack you seek is super easy to grab on the downhill, as it takes off from the sharp bend (see the map Tim put up). Not to complicate things. But you can't miss it on the downhill... and may miss it on the up hill.

Did the techie say that if you downloaded BaseCamp you would be okay? If this is true, this might be an easy fix. BaseCamp is free. Once it is loaded, plug in your unit and hit the download button.... then your gpx file(s) is on your computer. The file can then be uploaded to CalTopo or any...

Happy with my SPOT. I upgraded the $50 to get tracking (courtesy of my Dad at Xmas each year).... which is cool... as you can give a link to spouses or friends, who can see your progress, and know that you are moving forward. I also like the custom message, which I've configured to: "Running...
