I am a hiker, retired fall, 2012 from 28 yrs as a philosophy professor. On March 20, 2004, I completed my Adirondack winter 46; and I finished the Northeast 111 (115!) in June, 2006. Had some slow years, now am casually working on my 3rd round of the 46 and hope to complete the winter Catskill 3500 this coming winter (2012-13). Finished all-season Catskills in 2001.
